NewWork is a multidisciplinary company assisting in the development of neighborhoods, towns, and cities within the realms of planning, real estate, design, and multimedia. NewWork substantiates smart growth, utilization of new technologies ( including Geographic Information Systems or GIS), intelligent planning principles, sustainable design, interactive media, and digital communications for understanding, presenting, and planning information so as to achieve the maximum potential of any given development opportunity. The projects of NewWork range from developing master plans for cities to interfacing designs of kiosks. The several critical services of NewWork includes: analysis, websites, pro-formas, planning studies, research, space plans, graphic presentations, identity strategies, and many more. The recent NewWork projects have included the master plan for Belmar Seaport Village Master Plan, James Street District in Newark, and the Karachi Port Qasim Master Plan.

The background of NewWork: NewWork was formed in the year 2003 by Christopher Kirwan and Michael Saltzman. This company is the result of these two men’s systhesis and combined experience of 30 years of professional life in urban planning, architecture, real estate development and multimedia. This synthesis led to a unique and dynamic practice that enabled in providing turn-key solutions for complex and large-scale projects. Many strategies are used by NewWork in order to maintain an agile practice by balancing collaboration, creativity, and strict adherence for meeting the challenges of an ever-changing and competitive market place. There are ten people employed by NewWork for the core team with strategic partnerships in the specialized practices based on the project.
