Cyberjournalist is a unique website in the sense that it offers a single platform of links to all major banks of India, including those of the public sector and private sector and financial agencies. While the banks are registered alphabetically, the list itself is quite an exhaustive one, thus being a treasure for anybody who wants to know about banks in India. The site has been designed and maintained independently by Roy Mathew, a journalist based in Trivandrum, Kerela. But as the name suggests, the site features more than just banks. Cyberjournalist has a wide range of information about media ethics, technology, tools, web journalism and photography, among others. The site features various commentaries, articles, career advices and external links for banks, research institutions, national institutes and Universities.

Cyberjournalist is a one stop window for all the major banks of India. Thus included in the site are the nationalized banks of India including State Bank of India, Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Canara Bank, Development Credit Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Union Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Karnataka Bank, State Bank of Suarashtra, State Bank of Maharashtra, UCO Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank and Dena Bank, among others. There are also hosted in the website a line of private banks in India, such as Axis Bank, Centurion Bank of Punjab, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, ING Vyasa Bank and Yes Bank, among others.
Besides foreign bank such as HSBC Bank, there is also listed in Cyberjournalist, some of the prime financial agencies in India. The latter includes corporations such as Agricultural Finance Corporation, Clearing Corporation of India, IFCI Ltd., Life Insurance Corporation of India, National Insurance Company and NABARD, among many others. Besides this list of banks, Cyberjournalist also features the link to Reserve Bank of India. No doubt then, it is such a useful site for anybody wanting an overview of the banks in India.
